adrian carter deconti
  born and raised in the outskirts of malibu by his single mother, adrian deconti never knew his father. in fact, he spent his life resenting the man he should have called "dad". he couldn't find it in himself to respect someone who left a woman to fend for herself and her newborn child alone. he grew up bitter, sure, but more accurately he grew up pissed. he spent most of middle school and a good portion of high school letting out his anger on whoever had the balls to pipe up and speak backwards to him. adrian was a common staple in detention and i.s.s. he had no problem being the asshole on campus and rather embraced that light. the truth was, at home he was a mama's boy. he respected her for everything she had done, not only for him but for the way she rebuilt her life on such shaky grounds. so while he held the bad boy demeanor at school, a side no one knew was the good guy mama's boy who loved to cook and divulge into his grandmother's recipes from the old country. he made a habit of refusing to become "exclusive" but dated often and halfway into junior he was shocked to find that he was out to be a father. the mother of his soon-to-be baby girl made it a point that she did not have the means or time to care for a child and after some gentle coaxing, adrian agreed to take full responsibility for their daughter so that the mother could carry out the life she had always intended to live. it was the best decision he ever made.
